As the Child Abuse Prevention Council of San Bernardino County, Children’s Network works with community and County partners to develop collaborative partnerships that focus on educating and increasing awareness efforts to reduce the rates of child abuse and neglect in the County. We coordinate preventative programs and services to strengthen and promote child, family, and community well-being.
Children’s Network will be hosting our 38th Annual Conference at the DoubleTree Hotel Ontario Airport on September 18, 2024.
This year’s conference will provide 12 educational workshops to health care professionals, behavioral health clinicians, childcare providers, social workers, community based organizations, educators, foster parents, law enforcement and safety personnel.
This year’s conference will feature keynote speaker Leah Plunkett, author of the book Sharenthood: Why We Should Think Before We Talk About Our Kids Online. Plunkett will examine the implications of “sharenthood”—adults’ excessive digital sharing of children’s data, the risks, and the legal system that enables “sharenting.”
Conference Early Bird Registration: $150.00 (before 8/18/24)
Conference Registration: $175.00
Breakfast and lunch provided.
