The vision of the Mentoring Task Force is for every child and youth in San Bernardino County to have a positive caring adult in their life.

One in three children and youth in the United States will grow up without a mentor. This is called “The Mentoring Gap”.
The San Bernardino County Mentoring Task Force envisions a community where all children and youth can connect with one care adult outside of their home. A mentor can inspire, challenge, and motivate our youth to become successful and productive community members.
If you are passionate about sharing your knowledge and guiding our children and youth to success, consider becoming a mentor. Your experience can make a meaningful impact on someone’s journey.

The Mentoring Summit aims to cultivate a supportive environment for at-promise students by bringing mentors and community services together. Through a focus on mental health, we aim to foster personal growth and resilience to create a network that empowers these students to overcome challenges and thrive within the San Bernardino County community.
