As the Child Abuse Prevention Council of San Bernardino County, Children’s Network works with community and County partners to develop collaborative partnerships that focus on educating and increasing awareness efforts to reduce the rates of child abuse and neglect in the County. We coordinate preventative programs and services to strengthen and promote child, family, and community well-being.
Children’s Network will be hosting our 37th Annual Conference at the DoubleTree Hotel Ontario Airport on September 21, 2023.
This year’s conference will provide 15 educational workshops to health care professionals, behavioral health clinicians, childcare providers, social workers, community based organizations, educators, foster parents, law enforcement and safety personnel.
We’re excited to bring you this year’s keynote speaker, Clark Morrow, to speak about what our youth are facing today in terms of violence, drugs, social media, suicide and more, and how the COVID-19 pandemic has changed things for our kids.
Mr. Morrow is heavily involved in juvenile crime issues as a current or former member of the International Association of School Safety Professionals, the Southern California Juvenile Officers Association, the San Bernardino-based Law Enforcement Education Partnership, the San Bernardino County Drowning Prevention Network, the Inland Empire SAFEKIDS Coalition, the School Attendance Review Board for San Bernardino County, the National Association of School Resource Officers, and the San Bernardino Countywide Gangs and Drugs Task Force. He was given the “You Make a Difference” Award from the San Bernardino County Office of Education in 2005 for his work on behalf of children.
