What you need to
know:
Children and youth affected by familial opioid use have an increased risk of maltreatment and neglect.
Exposure to familial overdoses creates often undiagnosed trauma reactions and a need for therapeutic intervention.
The rise in Fentanyl/opioid overdose deaths amongst our youth is increasing and is a public health crisis.
Quick and effective use of naloxone can immediately restore breathing to a victim experiencing an opioid overdose.
