Sensory Processing & Early Childhood Trauma: Promoting Inclusion and Healthy Attachment

This two-part workshop aims to promote team collaboration, addressing the needs of young children in the area of sensory processing when experiencing adversity.
Participants will learn about the Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI) theory and strategies that promote infant-child mental health to promote participation in daily activities. Participants will explore and discuss how caregivers including parents, childcare providers and teachers can implement general strategies to create a safe and nurturing environment to support participation, trust and healthy attachment with the caregiver.
